Welcome to Rafik Elhajj (رفيق الحاج), a mobile application developed by Mohamed Younies to support pilgrims during Hajj and Umrah. We are fully committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our app. Please read it carefully.

We collect only information necessary to provide an excellent pilgrimage assistance experience:

• Account Information: Full name, phone number, and email address when you register.
• Pilgrim Profile: Trip details, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, Digital Hajj Card data.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates (only while the app is in use) for holy site navigation and group tracking.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version for technical support.
• Push Notification Token (FCM): For delivering alerts and instructions from your Mutawwif.
• Usage Data: In-app interactions to improve performance and user experience.

• Create and manage your pilgrim profile and Digital Hajj Card.
• Display personalized schedules, movement alerts, and instructions.
• Enable real-time location sharing within your pilgrim group (with your consent).
• Send push notifications for important events, schedules, and emergency alerts.
• Provide access to Duas, Dhikr, health guidelines, and medical advice.
• Facilitate direct communication with your Mutawwif and trip supervisors.
• Improve, debug, and maintain the application.

We use Google Firebase services governed by Google's Privacy Policy:

• Firebase Authentication: Secure user sign-in.
• Cloud Firestore: Stores your profile, trip, and notification data.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers push notifications.
• Firebase Storage: Stores profile images and documents.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs.

Location access is used solely to show holy site locations on interactive maps and to enable real-time pilgrim tracking visible to your trip supervisor and group. We never sell or use location data for advertising. Tracking stops when you close the app or remove permissions.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data:

• With your Mutawwif and trip supervisors for trip coordination.
• With Firebase/Google services as described above.
• When required by law or legal authority.

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Firebase Security Rules control access to your Firestore data.
• Authentication tokens expire automatically and are rotated periodically.

• Access your personal data stored in the app.
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw consent for location tracking or notifications at any time.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via push notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
